Meet Dr. Helen E. Ragsdale Round Rock's Laser Cosmetic Dentist

As a dental practitioner in Austin for over 20 years and Round Rock for 5 years, Dr. Helen E. Ragsdale has earned a reputation as the community’s gentle dentist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and in 1985, she completed her Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
 
Dr. Ragsdale believes that the pursuit of excellence requires continual education. She attained a Fellowship with ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists), the world’s largest professional implant dentistry organization. Dr. Ragsdale’s postgraduate training includes preceptorships at Baylor University for Periodontal Surgery. At the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), Dr. Ragsdale studied aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry. She has also completed advanced education in the fields of laser dentistry, full reconstructive and rehabilitative dentistry, and sedation dentistry.
 
Outside of office hours, Dr. Ragsdale enjoys cheering alongside her husband, John, as their children play tennis and volleyball. She volunteers at church, and she likes to stay active through yoga and Pilates. Dr. Ragsdale thoroughly enjoys the Hike and Bike trail at Town Lake.
