Round Rock Invisalign Dentist

Think you’ve outgrown braces?

You want straighter teeth, but traditional metal braces would compromise your mature, sophisticated image. You might be “too old” for metal braces, but it’s never too late to enjoys a straight and beautiful smile. As a certified Invisalign dentist, Dr. Ragsdale helps adults and older teens achieve straight teeth and a gorgeous smile with clear, removable braces.

How does Invisalign work?

With the Invisalign system, you won’t need wires, brackets, rubber bands, or metal to straighten your teeth. Mystified? Invisalign involves a custom series of mouth that apply gentle pressure to gradually move teeth into proper alignment. Patients wear each custom aligner about two weeks before moving on to the next one. A simple office visit is required every four to six weeks so that Dr. Ragsdale can evaluate treatment progress, but you won’t have to endure “adjustment” visits. Total treatment time varies, but on average, patients spend less than two years in clear braces – sometimes less than one year!

What are Invisalign’s benefits?

Your straight, attractive smile is the goal and primary benefit of Invisalign treatment. But the process has advantages, as well. With Invisalign, you’ll enjoy:

• Comfort The aligner’s edges are smooth and do not irritate your cheeks and gums. • Individuality Dr. Ragsdale will send your digital treatment plan to an Invisalign-certified lab, and a technician will fabricate a series of aligners specifically for your mouth. • Transparency Since Invisalign trays are clear and unobtrusive, most people won’t notice you’re wearing them. • Flexibility Remove the aligners when you eat, drink, brush, and floss. If you would like to leave them at home on an extra special occasion, go ahead! • Effectiveness Cases vary, but many patients enjoy straighter teeth before treatment is complete. Incremental tooth movement means that you’ll notice improvement as treatment progresses.

How much does Invisalign cost?

When you’re considering orthodontics, or any dental work for that matter, cost is always a factor. To get a clear idea of your treatment’s specifics, schedule a consultation with Dr. Ragsdale. The financial aspect will depend on several factors, including treatment time. Invisalign closely resembles traditional orthodontics in cost, starting somewhere around $3500.
